I wore shorts, thermal long sleeve jersey, and jacket. This kept me comfortable most of the bike ride except for a few times when I rode in the shade for long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bike Ride to SH 242, 75 Degrees Not A Normal January Day\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dB-NIOx6fpM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The ride to SH 242 enjoyed a 9 mph tailwind but I knew at the SH 242 turn around the ride back to Kingwood required more effort due to the headwind. Sometimes the headwind isn&#8217;t that bad but today it seemed stronger than the 9 mph the weather app reported when I finished at 2:46 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I biked <strong>37.24 miles<\/strong> putting January&#8217;s total <strong>164.58 miles<\/strong>, <strong>103.9 mile<\/strong>s on the road and <strong>60.7 miles<\/strong> in Zwift. I thought it would be reversed but the weather enabled me to ride more miles outdoors in fewer rides than I Zwifted indoors. This allowed children to be outside and some of them rode bikes, scooters, and electric replica cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to other commitments and time limits Tuesday will be a Zwifting day no matter
