Warmer too! I thought starting at 1:08 PM the chance of meeting other bikers was slim but as I approached Cross Country Drive in Walden 4 bikers stood at the stop sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube aligncenter wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bikers Encountered Riding to E Lake Houston Parkway\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hazkv9Z1La0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My planned route took me on what I call &#8220;Atascocita &#8211; Walden &#8211; E. Lake Houston Parkway&#8221;. At the time when I met the other cyclists they invited me to ride along as they went to Buc ee&#8217;s in Baytown. But that would be 40 to 50 miles longer than I wanted to ride. They said I could ride with them over Lake Houston and I agreed. They rode a little faster than me and when we turned onto FM 1960 it didn&#8217;t take long for them to pull away. That figured if they were going to ride that far and get back before dark. I watched them in the distance and turned around at E. Lake Houston Parkway as planned. My ride ended up at <strong>24.75 miles<\/strong>. This puts me over my 300 mile January goal for road miles with <strong>304.5 miles<\/strong>. I think this position allows more views with swiveling my head. I need to master keeping my fingers out of the video when I turn the camera off. The sound picks louder too with the microphone on the bottom of the GoPro closer to my mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a
