This was a couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday afternoon in February that was cloudless and warm enough to wear shorts if you stayed out of the shade. My friend Austin Green, himself riding a bikeshare bike, coasted half a block ahead of me, a blur of hair, hoodie, and red, boxy bicycle zipping past Kent &amp; Co., caught in the jumble of visual data. Cyclists of all skill levels will gather at City Hall on Sunday, March 15th as the event returns for its 15th year to benefit the Re-Plant Houston Program managed by the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. Riders will follow an all-new route this year heading northwest through Spring Branch, Fairbanks and Copperfield to Cypress before returning downtown.  The 20-mile route will stop at Lion Lane School, the 40-mile route will stop at Lee Elementary School and the full 60-mile route will stop at Thornton Middle School. This event begins and ends in Hermann Square at City Hall located at 901 Bagby.
