A nice change from overcast sky to bright sunshine. 68 degrees at the 12:02 PM start usually brings out the leg warmers but with the sun I felt confident the temperature would move up to the forecast of 73 degrees. By the time I finished biking the “Atascocita – Walden – Huffman” route at 2:29 PM it did get there. The bike ride covered 32.47 miles<\/strong> boosting February’s total to 538.3 miles<\/strong>, well passed my goal of 445 miles<\/strong>. My goal broke down to 345 road miles and 100 miles Zwifting. The actual break down: 418.6<\/strong> road miles and 119.7<\/strong> miles in Zwift land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weather during the bike ride: start 68 (56% humidity, 51.7 dew point), a few clouds, wind NE 5 mph. Finish 73 (45% humidity, 50.1 dew point), a few clouds, wind N 8 mph. Since I opted to not wear leg warmers I settled on shorts, long sleeve thermal jersey, and wind breaker jacket. My legs chilled at the beginning but once I got in the sun the chill went away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
