Upper 60s and sun makes for much better riding. And almost no wind too! Stayed on frontage road to I-10 all day today until I made it to the 190 split. Iraan was only 15 from there.\nThe theme for the day was wildlife. I saw more animals today (mostly dead, but hey&#8230;) than I have the entire trip so far. The only real encounter with live animals came just before I turned onto 190. 3 wild pigs blocked the frontage road ahead of me. Lots of them! Beautiful weather for a second day was welcomed, not as much the headwinds. Ended up only doing 80 miles and ending up in Eldorado for the night\nFirst flat of the trip today. Happened when I stopped for a sandwich and rode into the grass off the shoulder. A giant thorn from a mowed piece of bush went right into the tire. Today they sent out a follow-up notice, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m sharing it with you. It has some interesting approaches to making this street safer, but they aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t a done deal yet. We have to make sure Austin doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t give up and cede the road back to cars.
