{"id":526,"date":"2007-08-27T22:29:38","date_gmt":"2007-08-28T04:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.texbiker.net\/blog\/?p=526"},"modified":"2007-08-27T22:29:38","modified_gmt":"2007-08-28T04:29:38","slug":"riders-complete-another-successful-hottern-hell-hundred-take-home-memories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.texbiker.net\/blog\/2007\/08\/27\/riders-complete-another-successful-hottern-hell-hundred-take-home-memories\/","title":{"rendered":"Riders complete another successful Hotter&#8217;N Hell Hundred, take home memories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesrecordnews.com\/news\/2007\/aug\/25\/fast-finish-getting-ready-at-the-start-keeping\/\"from timesrecordnews.com<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Robert Morgan<br \/>\nTimes Record News<br \/>\nSaturday, August 25, 2007<\/p>\n<p>Getting ready<\/p>\n<p>Just before daybreak, Ed Carlberg and Gina Kelly readied themselves for the Hotter&#8217;N Hell Hundred.<\/p>\n<p>In the parking lot behind Midtown Manor, the Norman, Okla., couple pinned on their numbers and lathered themselves down with sunscreen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanted to do this a long time,&#8221; Kelly said.<\/p>\n<p>Carlberg said his brother kept bragging about the race, and finally, he had to come and see it.<\/p>\n<p>They were both riding in the 100k.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We hope,&#8221; Kelly quickly added.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the pair rode 45 miles in the Norman Conquest.<\/p>\n<p>As Carlberg and Kelly prepared for the ride ahead, a pack of cyclists passed them headed for the start line.
