With the bridge repair to the south I decided the greenway was a good place to go for a bike ride after biking to the north this week. The ride started at 10:55 AM and would last until 2:36 PM traveling <strong>42.75 miles<\/strong>. This time I didn&#8217;t ride all the way to I-45 but made the turnaround at Dennis Johnston Park. But the wind picked up while I biked among the trees. Weather during the ride: start 82 (53% humidity, 63.2 dew point), a few clouds, wind variable 6 mph. Finish 84 (50% humidity, 63.7 dew point), a few clouds, wind S 10 mph gusts 22 mph. I felt warm enough to wear shorts and a short sleeve jersey with sunscreen. I thought the wind increased but it was hard to tell with the trees. I found out when I exited the US59 trailhead to ride back to Kingwood though.
