Many were preparing for a sort of hibernation, including putting a halt to the often huge speculative restocking orders that happen that time of year. For most shops, that hibernation lasted about a week. Then suddenly, bikes started selling like toilet paper, a phenomenon we just recently covered. Now, two months later, the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s supply of new bikes is running out. Like toilet paper. &#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/adudeabikes.com\/2020\/05\/13\/but-i-would-bike-500-miles-and-i-would-bike-500-more\/\">But I Would Bike 500 Miles, And I Would Bike 500 More<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>A Dude Abikes | adudeabikes.com<\/h3>\n<p>Does it surprise you that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m still riding my bicycle around 17 miles a day, which totals 500 for the month? It surprises me a little, even though I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m the one who decided to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153make it so.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s because it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a lot of effing work. Like most everyone, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m having to deal with how our long international nightmare is impacting life. And a big part of my life is bicycling.
