Great start this week biking. I hit the road at 10:46 AM biking the “Kingwood – SH 242 – Kingwood” route. By the time I finished at 1:41 PM I rode 36.32 miles<\/strong>. This was the fourth time to ride this your in 2020 all on the Canyon Endurace CF SLX bike. The Canyon odometer turned to 16,644 miles with this ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week the temperature will heat up into the 90’s with lots of clear sky. Today’s weather while I rode: start 87 (52% humidity, 67.5 dew point), fair, wind NE 5 mph. Finish 90 (42% humidity, 63.4 dew point), fair, wind variable 4 mph. I wore a new pair of Bellwether Endurance Gel shorts and a short sleeve jersey. Not battling a headwind made pedaling nice. I built my average speed up to 14.5 mph and held it there until I got back to Kingwood Drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
