Lots of last-minute route adjustments. Kendall County must&#8217;ve peeped someone&#8217;s Strava heatmap because they&#8217;ve managed to screw up some of the most popular roads up there. Spanish Pass was all torn up. Tower and Big Joshua Creek were freshly chipsealed with piles of loose tire-eating gravel everywhere. Like I said, lots of rerouting. Still a perfect day in the saddle, though. Cloudy and cool in the morning but managed to route around the rain. We did get thoroughly drenched, and it was unfortunate that Mark experienced three flats, and had to call his wife to pick him up.
