I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m a former V. P., Sr. Outreach Director and Mentor of the organization. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m currently an Advisor to the Board, our Historian\/Statistician, MI Coordinator and a local Organizer. (involved since 2005)<\/p>\n<p>Due to the uniqueness of this year&#8217;s Ride because of COVID-19, it allows me to note multiple Ride locations within a city; small group rides, solo rides and virtual rides, vs. typically a single large gathering.<\/p>\n<p>Yes this includes all virtual rides, a Spin for Silence. I had a reply from a spinner on Instagram; [yes I rode on the 20th (May), but it was only on my trainer] As RofS Founder Chris Phelan has always stated; \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A single cyclist riding in silence is a RofS\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. If you spun that evening on a trainer for the RofS, you joined folks in Antarctica who held their unique Spin for Silence for the 14th year. But sometimes, they do move. And as a result, more disadvantaged Fort Worth kids will soon have some wheels of their own.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, a north Fort Worth dad, Daniel Guido, discovered that discarded bikes were piling up at a city-operated waste drop-off station. Guido runs a bike \u00e2\u20ac\u0153gang\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in his neighborhood, a group of families and volunteers who fix and maintain bikes, give rebuilt bikes away and host community rides in an effort to get children out of &#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/theparisnews.com\/free\/article_2ab36c1e-d8e6-11ea-9579-5bb699919183.html\">Tour de Paris is a go<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>theparisnews.com<\/h3>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com\/theparisnews.com\/content\/tncms\/assets\/v3\/editorial\/7\/8b\/78b40be4-ab47-11e9-86e5-4faa74f2185e\/5d33a5f2bda69.image.jpg?w=1200&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Lamar County Chamber of Commerce has announced the Tour de Paris Bicycle Rally is moving forward with modifications that will make it look different this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We do not want to cancel this event at this time, so we are moving forward with safety guidelines in place,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d a news release states.<\/p>\n<p>This event will be pre-registration only for this year, with the cutoff for pre-registration on Sept. 23 at midnight.
