Aboard my Canyon Endurace bike at 11:08 AM I headed out on the &#8220;New Caney &#8211; Tavola &#8211; Valley Ranch&#8221; route biking <strong>35.44 miles<\/strong> when I finished at 1:52 PM. Those miles moved my week total to <strong>112.56 miles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although it was 90 degrees at the start it didn&#8217;t feel that hot thanks to reasonable humidity (for Houston anyway) and dew point. Wind was calm picking up to 10 mph from the north by the time I finished. The calm wind held mostly while I rode north to Tavola and then I enjoyed a helpful tailwind on the trip back to Kingwood. I still managed to sport some salt stains on my bike shorts and arm sleeves. According to Space City Weather the temperatures might cool a few degrees if a front makes it here the next couple of days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday I mentioned the power output reading seemed to be less than what I expected. I checked the Favero Assiomo app and found a setting to send 2X values to bike computers that don&#8217;t make the change internally. As a result today&#8217;s power readings look closer to what I expected.
