I pressed today’s bike ride with the temperature just .6 of degree above my 60 degree no ride threshold. The sun was out in full blue sky mode and the wind was only 5 mph. I bundled up in shorts, leg warmers, long sleeve thermal jersey, wind breaker jacket, and half finger gloves. At 60 degrees I normally wear full finger gloves but in order to press the record buttons on the GoPro cameras I needed exposed finger tips. Early in the ride my fingers chilled but after a few minutes it went away or I forgot about it. I waited until 12:16 PM to begin biking on my Lynskey R300 bike. Before that I thought I about riding north to FM 1485 at New Caney but with the chill I changed to biking Kingwood Streets for 20.42 miles<\/strong> which put me with 9 miles of reaching 800 miles for October. I plan on biking tomorrow (Saturday) to get to and beyond 800 miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
