Fort Worth YMCA, Bike Gangs of Fort Worth to Provide Free Bike Repairs for Families<\/a><\/h2>\n

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is partnering with the Bike Gangs of Fort Worth to provide free bicycle repairs to children and families.<\/p>\n

The bike repairs, called "rehabs," will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Northpark YMCA located at 9100 North Beach Street in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

The 100-bike rehab event is seeking volunteers to set up in socially-distanced stations and help to repair bikes to get back in an effort to encourage children and families to ride bikes and get outside.<\/p>\n

I crossed the state line just before noon; the road from Las Cruces to El Paso was flat and slightly downhill with very little wind. Still, the day had been bitingly cold and never got much above the mid 30s for most of the morning. Fortunately, I had a thick pair of wool gloves. Keep San Angelo Beautiful completes many projects since it was created in February 2020, plants to finish the year with bicycle giveaway<\/a><\/h2>\n

SAN ANGELO, Texas \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Keep San Angelo Beautiful organization, or KSAB, has only been around since February of this year, however, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve already made a big impact on the community.<\/p>\n

On Friday, December 4, 2020, they announced they received a grant which will be used to extend their children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s program to include more education and a bicycle giveaway just in time for the holidays.<\/p>\n

Charlotte Anderson is the Executive Director of KSAB. She says the organization has done a lot for the community despite being in the midst of a pandemic and only being operational for a short period of time.<\/p>\n
