He was always encouraging and a pleasure to ride with. We will miss Don at all our rides.\nWe will be riding in his memory on Sunday January 10th at 1pm (weather permitting). We will meet at the downtown Denton Wells Fargo parking lot. It will a 10 mile loop that will include a ride by his home and incorporating some of his favorite roads around Denton. God blessed Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s life from the beginning.  Born six weeks premature in the small Denton hospital on Elm Street, he was sent home with little hope of survival.  He grew up in Lewisville, Texas, graduating as a proud Fighting Farmer in 1968.  Earning his degree in political science from North Texas State University (UNT), he later did graduate work in computer science.<\/p>\n<p>He began his career in that field with Buckner Baptist Benevolences, before joining Auto Convoy.  From there he worked as a computer consultant and trainer with Unisys and other companies.
