City close to approving new, hike-bike trail park<\/a><\/h3>\n

The city of Midland is close to approving an agreement with the Permian Basin Bicycle Association to construct a multi-use trail park, according to a press release from PBBA. The trail system will be located on city property adjacent to Harris Field Fire Training Center in southeast Midland near the intersection of Interstate 20 and Highway 307.<\/p>\n

Midland might be getting a mountain bike park similar to the one northeast Odessa.<\/p>\n

The city of Midland is close to approving an agreement with the Permian Basin Bicycle Association to construct a multi-use trail park, according to a press release from PBBA. The trail system will be located on city property adjacent to Harris Field Fire Training Center in southeast Midland near the intersection of Interstate 20 and Highway 307.<\/p>\n

A portion of the park is situated in an area with abundant trees and vegetation that is unique to the desert climate. PBBA will build approximately 7 miles of beginner and intermediate level single-track trails. There will also be a wider and easier …<\/p>\n
