Day 3 – Leakey: Hard day, ride cut in half<\/h4>\n

Friday March 26, 2021, 23 miles (37 km) – Total so far: 108 miles (174 km)\nLeft the Los Rios Campground around 9:30 am. Stopped for breakfast at Casa Falcon in Camp Wood. The headed out on Ranch Road 337. I knew it was going to be a rough day due to the climbing. Traffic wasn’t too bad initially but as the day progressed started seeing more motorcycles. I started up the first climb but it became a hike-a-bike about a mile from the top.<\/p>\n

It’s been 6 years since I bought my first full-suspension bike. This final Saturday of the 2021 version of March is the first time in a long time, perhaps the first time this year, that I rode my bike south on the Circle Trail all the way to Mount Wichita.<\/p>\n
