Just after 3 am as he rode south on Loop 494 just north of FM 1314 he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Possibly maroon in color. The vehicle that struck him continued on with the bicycle attached to it. Troopers did locate one part of the bike close to one-half mile away on Loop 494. The male had no identification on him. MCHD attempted life-saving measures but he was pronounced deceased at 3;35am.
