Not wanting to delay the start of the ride I switched to the Canyon Endurace CF SLX. Nice to have that option. The ride began at 11:32 AM and ended at 2:19 PM. The route I chose headed north and turn back to the south at SH 242. I call this the &#8220;Kingwood &#8211; SH 242 &#8211; Kingwood&#8221; route. This was the 4th time biking this route in 2021, twice on each bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ride covered <strong>36.27 miles<\/strong>, putting the week at <strong>185.29 miles<\/strong>. Within striking distance of a 200+ mile week if the weather cooperates. Saturday biking will be different due to an electrician coming early. Not sure how long the work will take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today&#8217;s weather: start 76 (52% humidity, 57 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind ENE 7 mph; finish 80 (50% humidity, 59.4 dew point), partly cloudy, wind E 6 mph. The wind still has a chill to it when I rode in the shade from the Tuesday night front. I wore shorts, a long sleeve jersey, and a short sleeve jersey. Humidity and dew points are lower than usual for Houston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wildflowers continue to bloom along the roads.
