The two-mile ride takes her about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>She starts on Hawthorne Street, shaded by oak trees and lined with single-family houses and small apartment complexes. Neighbors out walking their dogs wave. Other cyclists say good morning as they pass. Forester started at linebacker for the Miners and led the team in tackles during a Covid-interrupted season. The senior could&#8217;ve returned for one more year as the NCAA was not counting the year of eligibility against athletes during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>But Forester is choosing not to return to UTEP.
