Clever Midtown art crawl\/bike tour showcases colorful female rising stars<\/a><\/h2>\n

Artsy and active Houstonians can enjoy some favorable weather and engaging art this weekend. Midtown Houston is showcasing some local female artists via a hybrid art crawl\/bike ride at 10:30 am May Saturday, May 29.<\/p>\n

The curated event, dubbed the Midtown Art Crawl + Bike Ride, is open to a maximum of 25 riders, who can hop on bikes from bicycle-sharing company Houston BCycle. The biking outfit hosted a first-of-its-kind competition for artists to paint BCycle stations in the area.<\/p>\n

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – 25 lucky Wichita Falls ISD students got their very own bikes on Wednesday, completely free of charge.<\/p>\n

Those bikes came from the Wichita Falls Fire Department, who had them leftover from Operation Santa Claus because the community was so generous.<\/p>\n

The fire department partnered with Head Start in the WFISD to get those bikes to kids. Teachers from 25 classrooms each picked a kid in their class who didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a ride of their own.<\/p>\n
