(June 7, 2021)- Alex Cerda was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on June 5, 2021 in Harris County, Texas. The accident occurred around 4:00 a.m. in the 8600 block of C. E. King Parkway. Deputies reported that Cerda was picking up his bicycle in the outside lane of the roadway when he was struck by an unknown dark-colored sedan. The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the crash. Cerda was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details have been provided at this time.
