Two-Time BMX Rider of the Year Brad Simms Joins Canyon<\/a><\/h2>\n

BMX legend Brad Simms has signed with Canyon Bikes.<\/p>\n

The American rider will not be switching over from BMX but will instead add some mountain biking into his program as, "a medium for him to explore more domestically and spark more diversity in outdoor and action sports communities." The signing was announced on Instagram with one of Simms’ favourtie mountain bikers and now Canyon team mate Fabio Wibmer. \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 Last year, Brad earned two of the sport\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most sought-after accolades – the 2020 NORA Cup BMX Rider of The Year and the 2020 Vital BMX Rider of The Year. TxDOT Seeking Public Input on Early Plans For Dallas I-30 Corridor Project<\/a><\/h2>\n

The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on the early phase of a proposed plan to reconstruct a 4.4-mile portion of Interstate 30 East.<\/p>\n

The scope of the massive project includes widening and reconstructing I-30 East from Interstate 345 and Interstate 45 to Ferguson Road \u00e2\u20ac\u201d the portion of freeway that bisects parts of Deep Ellum, East Dallas, Fair Park, South Dallas and Pleasant Grove.<\/p>\n

The proposal, which TxDOT shared Tuesday in a virtual presentation, would include adding a fifth lane in each direction and depressing the main and managed lanes below ground level from I-345\/I-45 to Dolphin Road. It would also include reconstruction of ramps and bridges, a second reversible managed lane and accommodations for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n
