On Wednesday, July 14, the artistic mother-son duo will unveil a new mural downtown called \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bike Through H-Town.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Promoting the importance of getting outside and exploring the city by hopping on a bike, the mural was painted with Bosch eBike Systems, which makes the bikes in Houston\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ride-share system, B-Cycle.<\/p>\n

How friendly are Arlington streets for pedestrians and cyclists?<\/a><\/h2>\n

A new advocacy group is advocating for a more pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly city, and its members want to help residents assess their neighborhoods\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 needs.<\/p>\n

Members of Walkable Arlington, a fledgling nonprofit led by UT Arlington students, are compiling recommendations for city government to improve walking and biking downtown. Preliminary ideas are as simple as installing bike racks or changing pedestrian walk times, and longer term, including converting Center and Mesquite streets to two-way and incorporating protected bike lanes.<\/p>\n

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) — A group of college students arrived in Rochester Wednesday along their 4,000 mile bike ride to fight cancer.<\/p>\n

The trek for the 19 University of Texas-Austin students began in Austin, Texas and will take a loop around the heartland before returning to the Lone Star state.<\/p>\n
