One of the features of the Kingwood greenbelts connects parks and pools without riding on streets. I rode by 8 different village pools on the Tour de Pools covering 17.46 miles. At River Grove Park I biked on the new to me greenway from last week but this time I followed the sharrows on the streets and found even more greenway segments all the way to Forest Cove Drive where the sharrows disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With today&#8217;s miles I finished the week with 236.75 miles, about 3 miles more than last week&#8217;s total. Better yet, I passed my 800 mile goal for July. Starting late was a good reason to ride the greenbelt trails in some shade. I finished the bike ride at 3:08 PM. Weather summary for the ride: start 90 (58% humidity, 72.8 dew point), partly cloudy, wind variable 4 mph; finish 93 (50% humidity, 71.2 dew point), partly cloudy, wind S 5 mph. Not much wind which probably didn&#8217;t matter with all of the trees. Not many people out on the trails with the heat and air quality alert.
