To lessen the heat I rode the Kingwood Trails with the shade from the many trees. As I prepared to ride I thought of what trails to ride and came up with today&#8217;s combination. The feature on the trails: wooden bridges or least bridges with wooden floors. I rode my Lynskey R300 across a number of bridges but not all of them. There are more on trails I didn&#8217;t bike today.  A previous <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.texbiker.net\/blog\/2021\/07\/25\/tour-de-pools-on-kingwood-greenbelt-trails\/\">ride on the trails featured various village pools<\/a><\/strong>. I wasn&#8217;t sure how long the ride would be but I finished at 3:31 PM after biking <strong>19.31 miles<\/strong>. Wrapping up the week my total came in at <strong>234.86 miles<\/strong>. With the 1st day in August I kicked off a new goal of 800 miles and now only need 781 more miles. No repeat route during the week. The trip to Galveston started the week&#8217;s bike rides. This marks 10 weeks in a row at 200+ miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was one bridge I tried to find in Trailwood Village that crosses the Ben&#8217;s Branch drainage ditch. The bridge is rather long with a steel frame and wood deck. I ride slowly because I never know what is around the next curve or group of trees. Today on one section a girl on a Razor type scooter came around a corner and I needed to move to give her room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weather conditions: start 92 (56% humidity, 73.9 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind W 6 mph; finish 92 (56% humidity, 73.7 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind W 7 mph. At one point when I came off the trails in Kings Forest Village the street was damp from a brief shower.
