YIPPIE, maybe summer is relenting a bit!) and there was virtually no wind, so I was not missing any fun sailing. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/donbynum.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/08\/dsc02943-cropped-at-the-start.jpg?w=500&#038;h=166&#038;fit=500%2C166&#038;resize=500%2C166\" alt=\"Mormon Mill\" width=\"500\" height=\"166\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/bikedenton.wordpress.com\" href=\"http:\/\/bikedenton.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/01\/oncor-here-and-there\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Oncor here and there<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nfrom Bike Denton by bikedenton<br \/>\nAs seen in the newspaper this week, Oncor is making headlines in Denton County over its defeated proposal to cut across the popular Greenbelt trail.\u00c2\u00a0 You can see the proposed routes here.<\/p>\n<p>The newly formed Greenbelt Alliance pulled together some impressive muscle and turned out en masse at the county hearing to fight Oncor\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s route across the Greenbelt.\u00c2\u00a0 It worked, and Oncor now has to consider other routes instead.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m admittedly a little confused how much of this is nearby landowner NIMBY and how much is actual fight to preserve the Greenbelt.\u00c2\u00a0 Just saying\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.austin360.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.austin360.com\/blogs\/content\/shared-gen\/blogs\/austin\/fitcity\/entries\/2010\/09\/01\/texas_4000_for_cancer_teams_wi.html?cxntfid=blogs_fit_city\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Texas 4000 for Cancer partners with LiveStrong<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nBy Pam Leblanc | Wednesday, September 1, 2010, 12:32 PM<br \/>\nby Austin 360 (blog)<br \/>\nBig news from the Texas 4000 for Cancer folks, who just wrapped up their seventh 4,687-mile bicycle ride from Austin to Anchorage in the name of cancer awareness.<\/p>\n<p>The non-profit organization is teaming up with LiveStrong as a title sponsor, starting next year.<\/p>\n<p>It makes sense.
