The Harris County Flood Control District is widening this section of bayou and updating structures.<\/p>\n<p>This project proposes a safe detour to maintain connectivity and direct walkers and bikers back on to the trail during construction. We are planning for a short-term solution that can lead to a long-term, permanent high-comfort bikeway in the area. Improvements along the detour will address safety concerns for all modes, including crosswalk and intersection improvements for the corridor.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking feedback for our proposed detour options.
