Race 2 saw the RoY leader Cason Hewgley on the wrong end of some bad luck resulting in him crashing out of the race and ultimately contention for the RoY prize. John Martin was the rider to capitalize winning the elimination. Said Assali fought hard in the points race with the RoY decided in the final sprint, while Said won the final points John was able to hold off Stuart Gardner to pick up the 4 points he needed to edge Said’s out by 32 to 31. This meant Said only got 7 omnium points instead of the 10 for winning and therefore finished 3rd on the night 2 points behind Darby. This all meant that John takes over his wife, Tracy’s, #1 bib for 2022!<\/p>\n
Juniors<\/p>\n
Elijah swept the night and came out victorious again despite being pushed hard by Gabi, Tegan and Isaiah who all picked up a 2nd places.
