The wind finally stopped<\/h4>\n<p>Monday October 11, 2021, 75 miles (121 km) &#8211; Total so far: 1,193 miles (1,920 km)\nEnjoyed my night in a motel room, so much nicer than camping. Rode with Greg and Larry all day. First 30 miles to Brackettville was nice and pretty flat, but I still felt tired from previous days of riding. I think we saw our first UDA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (undocumented aliens), they were sitting on the side of a ditch with Sheriff talking to them. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve never seen so many State Troopers than today, probably half of the vehicles. In the middle of nowhere there &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.crazyguyonabike.com\/pics\/docs\/00\/02\/00\/89\/small\/122634ED-D65B-40C6-A5F6-C2ECC19C38AD.jpeg?w=1200\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<h4>Day 24: Camp Wood to Lost Maples state park, 3,537\u00e2\u20ac\u2122of climbing, 4:40 hrs in the saddle, a nice change of scenary<\/h4>\n<p>Tuesday October 12, 2021, 46 miles (74 km) &#8211; Total so far: 1,239 miles (1,994 km)\nLast night wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t too bad with 4 guys sharing a floor, until someone had to go pee! Started raining early morning and didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t stop till the end of ride.
