Flower Mound teen collecting bikes to donate to foster homes<\/a><\/h2>\n

A Flower Mound teenager is seeking donations of new and gently used bicycles to donate to kids in foster homes for Christmas.<\/p>\n

Rohan Ahuja, a junior at Flower Mound High School, has launched a bike drive with Chosen Ones Foster & Adoptive Family Support, a Fort Worth-based nonprofit. Last year, Rohan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s uncle started a similar bike drive in Corpus Christi, and it impressed and motivated Rohan to start his own.<\/p>\n

Tucked into a stack of recent memos at Dallas City Hall was one that made us smile.<\/p>\n

There is a lot in that sentence to celebrate, and much more in the information that follows. First is the statement that Dallas actually does place importance on \u00e2\u20ac\u0153multi-modal transportation\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u201d that is, getting around in some way that doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t mean getting in the car.<\/p>\n
