I&#8217;m behind on the miles to reach my goal for January so I got dressed and rode my Lynskey R300 for 38.18 miles on the &#8220;New Caney &#8211; Gene Campbell Road&#8221; route. I plan on riding tomorrow too. I rolled away at 11:24 AM and finished at 2:28 PM. In between I enjoyed a nice tailwind on the way to new Caney and fought a strong headwind when I reached FM 1314 and most of the way back to Kingwood. The wind increased during the ride just to make it harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn&#8217;t realize it had been almost two months since my last ride on this route. That was November 24th, 2021. I rode the Lynskey R300 on that ride too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two dogs at Rock Creek and Northpark Drive were waiting for me when I arrived. I talk about my encounter with them in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weather conditions for the bike ride: start 71 (humidity 57%, dew point 39), mostly cloudy, wind S 14 mph; finish 71 (humidity 58%, dew
