‘Man, you’re crazy’: San Antonio man bikes down dried up Splashtown slides<\/a><\/h2>\n

John Castillo rode his bike around the abandoned Splashtown water park on Wednesday, January 19.<\/p>\n

Even without water, Splashtown has become a hotbed for adventure since permanently shuttering in September 2021. Recently, a photographer traversed the space to get photos before the water park is transformed into a car dealership. This week, another San Antonian transformed the former water park into a personal BMX park.<\/p>\n

John Castillo, 30, snuck into the abandoned water park with friends to bike this week. After hanging out around the kiddie pools, Castillo says he walked through some of the slides to make sure they were stable before he rode his BMX bike through them.<\/p>\n
