Then his mind became a &quot;complete fog.&quot; He stopped pedaling, slumped over his handlebars and crashed into his wife, Natalie.<\/p>\n<p>Chris landed face down on the pavement, breaking his collarbone. Natalie fractured her kneecap.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I know what happened because the whole event was being videoed by the ride leader with his action camera,&quot; said Chris, who lives in Plano, Texas. &quot;I got to see it many, many times. Doug Evans, Lisa Gibson and Jane Stricker have all stood down after many dedicated years of serving Alkek Velodrome and GHCF, I am sure everyone will join me in expressing our gratitude to them for their efforts. Coming onto the board are Cason Hewgley, Tracy Jones-Martin and TJ Nguyen. All will be great additions to take the organization forward.
