Cyclist dies in I-35 crash<\/a><\/h2>\n

A cyclist died in an accident reported on Wednesday afternoon along the Interstate 35 Frontage Road in north Laredo, authorities said.<\/p>\n

At about 4:38 p.m., police officers responded to an auto-cyclist report in the 12800 block of Frontage Road on mile marker 12B of South Interstate 35.<\/p>\n

First officers on the scene encountered a man lying on the roadway. Police requested the assistance of the Laredo Fire Department. Crews took the man to Doctors Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Beginning the week of March 14, the Public Works Department, in conjunction with the Engineering Department, is scheduled to begin work on the Craddock Avenue Buffered Bike Lane Pilot Project.<\/p>\n
