Along with those the sunny 80 degrees felt great while I rode the Cervelo Caledonia on the &#8220;New Caney &#8211; Gene Campbell Blvd.&#8221; route. Wheels down and rolling at 11:54 AM. The wind let up today but it still felt like the headwind was stronger than the weather report numbers. I biked 37.48 miles which improved the week&#8217;s total to 162.46 miles, putting a 200 mile week in reach with two biking days left. For the month I am up to 728.13 miles, the highest month since October 2021. The previous ride was on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sporttracks.mobi\/activity\/29125085\">January 18th<\/a><\/strong>. Today&#8217;s bike ride was slightly shorter by .6 of a mile but the average speed was 14.2 mph versus 13.6 in January. Riding time was 10 minutes shorter today at 2:38:52. My legs felt good. Looking at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/axs.sram.com\/activities\/wahoo-262128671__1648227246\">AXS.SRAM.com<\/a><\/strong> I learned I spent the most time in the 35&#215;13 gear combination followed by the 35&#215;15 gears. 47 RD shifts, only one shift where I used the left brake lever trying to shift to a bigger rear gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weather conditions are getting closer to my preferred zone. Start 77 (humidity 31%, dew point 44), fair, wind NW 5 mph; finish 81 (humidity 17%, dew point 32), clear, wind N 0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tifoso Shout Out glasses arrived this morning so I thought why use them during the bike ride. The prescription is not what I thought it would be but better than plain sunglasses. What I wanted was to be able to see the numbers on the Bolt computer as clear as with my regular prescription glasses. I used the same prescription and specified single vision which I think my regular glasses are. Other than the numbers on the computer all the rest was nice and crisp. I bought them from tifosioptics.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I earned two local legends in Strava: <strong>Local Legend<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/6881800621\/segments\/2942526205211147364\">South Sprint to PHS<\/a> and <strong>Local Legend<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/6881800621\/segments\/2942526205211687012\">Shell &#8211; Stripes Cruise<\/a>.
