The course was pretty dry and fast. I always watch for the sand section and today it was slightly uphill too. No sand for my bike ride today though. I was back on the road after riding in Watopia in Zwift yesterday due the rain. I waited several hours this morning for the temperature to get to 60. It hung around 58 until about 10:45 and as it neared 60 I started gathering everything I needed to ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the temperature just at my threshold of 60 I needed to wear shorts, leg warmers, a long sleeve poly T-shirt, a long sleeve thermal jersey, windbreaker jacket, and full finger gloves. That sounds like a lot of clothing but it is light and after riding for about 15 minutes I was comfortable. The wind chill added to my coolness. The overcast sky didn&#8217;t let any sun come through to warm me up. Weather conditions: start 62 (humidity 83%, dew point 56), cloudy, wind NW 11; finish 64 (humidity 79%, dew point 58), overcast, wind W 8 mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me and my Cervelo Caledonia bike rolled out at 11:24 AM following my <em>Atascocita &#8211; Huffman &#8211; Walden<\/em> route. I added the loop south to Spanish Cove Drive on FM 2100 to the route lengthening it some. When I finished at 2:11 PM the ride totaled 34.17 miles. Usually the distance is less than 34 miles. With the late start I didn&#8217;t expect to other cyclists but on Kings Crossing Drive on the way back another cyclist came up behind me and passed when I stopped for the light at Kingwood Drive. He wasn&#8217;t bundled up as much as I was. I was encouraged at the road construction on FM 1960 at Atascocita Shores Drive with the rebar in place and the paving machine poised to spread concrete in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its been several rides since I looked at the cadence chart and data for a ride. Below is from today&#8217;s bike ride. A total of 8,262 pedal revolutions and an average of 6.66 m per revolution. Average cadence was in Z16, 76 rpm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a
