I was sick and today was the first day I felt well enough to get out and enjoy early summer weather during the fall. In addition to not feeling well my niece has been in the ICU at the same time. Not a good week. And Daylight Saving Time rolled back too. The trifecta of bad stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got the bike ride underway at 11:40 AM riding my Cervelo Caledonia bike. I chose my <em>Atascocita &#8211; Walden &#8211; Huffman<\/em> route for the 32nd time this year. I didn&#8217;t expect to ride fast and treated this as a recovery ride finishing at 2:32 PM after riding 34.09 miles. My goal for November is 360 miles and I am way behind. There will be some Zwift rides if it is cold as the weather forecast predicts. Today&#8217;s weather: start 84 (humidity 56%, dew point 67), a few clouds, wind E 12 mph; finish 85 (humidity 54%, dew point 66), a few clouds, wind SE 17 mph.
