The League of American Bicyclists ranks Texas as only 41 out of the 50 states for being the most bicycling friendly. Bicycling around Abilene isn&#8217;t always the easiest either. Getting around&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.theanahuacprogress.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theanahuacprogress.com\/articles\/2010\/10\/20\/news\/news03.txt\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Bike around the Bay starts in Anahuac<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nby Anahuac Progress<br \/>\nMore than 800 bicyclists descended upon Anahuac early Saturday morning as they gathered for the Bike Around the Bay event. Anahuac was the first leg of the 150-mile journey where cyclists travelled south to Bolivar, west to Galveston and north to Baytown on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The event benefits the Galveston Bay Foundation.
