While some neighbors say the devices make them feel safe, others in the Barton Hills neighborhood in south Austin are voicing their concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The flexible white delineator posts that line Barton Skyway were installed in February by the Austin Transportation Department to make the bicycle lanes safer and to calm speeding. Neighbors should have received an email or notification in the mail about the safety and mobility improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Three petitions have been started for and against traffic calming devices.
