Motorists are reminded to be cautious and respectful of cyclists and prepare for some delays on certain roads.<\/p>\n<p>The designated route on Friday, March 31 begins at the Center Point-Waring-Welfare Loop, proceeding to Bankersmith-Hayden Ranch Loop.<\/p>\n<p>The final day of Texas Hell Week is scheduled for Saturday, April 1 beginning at the Waring-Comfort Loop. Ultimately, cyclists will finish at the Old Tunnel-Grapetown-Luckenbach Loop. At last night\u2019s map meeting we were warned about a steep climb about 4 miles into the ride. It\u2019s named the Wall of Death or the Widow-maker. Good to have the warning cuz it turned out to be less severe than imagined. Once on top, the fun begins: Undulating hills that remind me of home. Lots of ups and bombing down and plenty of momentum hills. I tried to chase the scouts, Steve &amp; Rick for about 12 miles before they sped out of sight. It was a fun, pleasant ride even as the temperature rose. Saw the largest set of horns I\u2019ve ever seen on a steer.
