Seguin Police Department\u2019s Badges, Bikes and Tykes event is around the corner and the department is hoping more donations roll in for the event.<\/p>\n

The department recently put out a call for the community\u2019s help to ensure the event has enough bicycles to give away to local children.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in need of bikes,\u201d Seguin Police Community Engagement Officer Sarah Chilutti said. \u201cThere\u2019s apparently a shortage in supply. So that\u2019s where we\u2019re struggling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saturday May 6, 2023\nIt was DEFINITELY worth it!<\/p>\n

The light show, the wind, and the deluge were impressive!<\/p>\n

Everything stayed dry (enough).<\/p>\n

Packed up a soggy campsite and hit the road.<\/p>\n

-More sniveling… lol. Not a single place to get a coffee on the route today. When the path crossed a highway, I scooted North about a mile to hit a truck stop to get a cup of the good stuff that makes the Earth revolve. And yes, I enjoyed it while sitting on bench out front, sweating through my sticky clothing. -Worth it!<\/p>\n

Made it to Made in the Shade campground and currently very happy with this. Showers and wifi for the win!<\/p>\n
