That means the National Bike To Work Day brings more possibilities to ride.<\/p>\n<p>In raw numbers, GOBankingRates calculated ditching a car and all its costs, for a bicycle, would equal an average savings of nearly $4,300 a year. I was happy to PR this race by 15 minutes and the course was even 2 miles longer. Last year I got 16th and 21st this year. I burned a few matches around mile 50 and had to bridge back solo with contact made by mile 60. I held with the group through mile 85 but got gapped on an attack and was solo for a while after before finally forming a group of 4 to the finish. My key takeaway is that I might not be able to put out the raw wattage to cover those attacks although my w\/kg is probably sufficient. Might need to get in the gym more and bulk up for next year.
