Bridwell Ag Center for the Wee-Chi-Tah Falls Downshift Mountain Bike Race. He whipped up a coffee and a breakfast burrito for me and the other cyclist that had shown up yesterday!<\/p>\n<p>Hit the road and felt super slow. The gears were super heavy. Had to shift down a lot! I was wondering if I needed a rest day, different food, or what?<\/p>\n<p>At the halfway point, I ran the numbers and found i averaged only 7 miles an hour!<\/p>\n<p>Pulled up the route and checked the elevation&#8230; I&#8217;d been climbing all day, lol! Even though it did not look like it. Goes to show the pedals never lie.<\/p>\n<p>Sanderson TX is about 650 people and has a few neat old buildings still kicking around.
