It was a return to the region by the Texas 4000 cycling team, who is making another 4000-mile run from Texas to Alaska to raise money for cancer research.<\/p>\n<p>The &quot;Ozarks&quot; half of the split team left Memphis last Thursday and pedaled into Paducah last Saturday, then Marion, Illinois on Monday. But the most recent event, organizers say, may have been its best one yet.<\/p>\n<p>This past weekend, hundreds of community members took to the streets of the Greater Heights neighborhood for the Houston Heights Association\u2019s annual Hike and Bike Rally and Scavenger Hunt.
