After five years of work by the city and volunteer trail-builders, San Antonio\u2019s newest park is open. It brings about three miles of brand-new trails to the North Side, with about two miles built by and for mountain bikers.<\/p>\n

Healthcare system makes $3,600 donation to 24 Hours in the Canyon<\/a><\/h2>\n

Northwest Texas Healthcare System presented Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation\u2019s 24 Hours in the Canyon with a $3,609.60 donation check as selected by employees of Northwest, the company announced in a news release this week.<\/p>\n

Employees purchased shirts and proceeds were designated to go to this great organization, a news release states.<\/p>\n

As Ryan Parnell, 24 Hours in the Canyon Director shared, \u201cI\u2019m speechless. We were so disappointed about the cancellation of this year\u2019s event because of the flooding. It has truly been a blessing to know we are supported by our friends at Northwest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neighbors of CitySquare Paris will soon have the opportunity to use bicycles for transportation in Paris thanks to a $5,000 contribution by Rotary Club Paris for the purchase of bicycles, helmets and locks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe partnership with Rotary Club of Paris United for the bicycle program will provide tremendous opportunity for those served daily by CitySquare,\u201d executive director Derald Bulls said. \u201cThe bicycles will provide a means of transportation to gain employment and better access to CitySquare for the various services offered.\u201d<\/p>\n
