What began as a small startup has since bloomed into a much more ambitious enterprise, with Powell appearing on ABC\u2019s \u201cShark Tank\u201d in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Two judges on the show invested in Powell\u2019s company, helping it buoy the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Bunch Bikes has scaled up, moving to a bigger facility in October 2021 to keep up with demand. This year marks year number four for Salinas. Some of his motivation to raise money comes from his mother who lost her life to cancer in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign officially began at the beginning of September and, according to his website, he has biked 351 miles and has raised $549.<\/p>\n<p>His first challenge was in 2020.
