I asked the rider if the greenway was open where it had been closed and he said yes though the pavement was dirt but passable. Because of the construction I had not rode the greenway beyond the construction area. Today I bike the Spring Creek Greenway to Pundt Park to fix that. I was slow getting started rolling away at 9:52 AM on the Canyon Endurace bike. When I got to the trailhead I saw two cyclist enter ahead of me, a good sign that others would be biking. I did see a number of cyclists but they were spread out along the greenway. There was a worker at the construction site but to the left and outside the fence. The dirt patch had more sand than dirt which can be tricky riding through on narrow tires but I made across both times without an issue. I reached Pundt Park just before noon. Before starting back I took a 20 minute break sitting in the shade and eating a snack to fuel my ride. I didn&#8217;t see many cyclists on the way back probably because of the time of day and maybe some people still think the greenway is closed. The number of cars parked at the trailhead when I returned was only one compared to the five when I entered. On the way back to Kingwood I took the San Jacinto Bayou Greenway. No cyclists there but I did see one as I rode north on Woodland Hills Drive. I was back home at 1:55 PM. Today&#8217;s 42.21 miles pushed the week to 163.75, an average of almost 41 miles with 4 days of biking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shade and breeze on the greenway was pleasant with a hint of fall. Weather during the bike ride: Start 82 degrees, 77% humidity, dew point 74.4, mostly clear, wind NE 7 mph; Finish 89 degrees, 56% humidity, dew point 71.0, partly cloudy, wind E 10 mph gusts 20 mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think I developed a saddle sore on yesterday&#8217;s ride in Galveston. I had to sit gently on the saddle today. I hope it gets better in time to ride tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
