After hitting McDonald\u2019s I was off on another hilly, breezy ride in mid Texas. The road was quite slippery in some spots at the beginning so I had to treat it like riding on black ice. Eventually the road dried out and it was no longer a problem.\nWe went through Fredericksburg around lunch time and it looked like a very good town with lots of stuff to do. It is known for its wineries and German restaurants. I think it is on the list of places to come back to someday.\nWe passed grassy fields, rocky fields, pastures and lots of livestock.
