\n“Saddle up” with us on March 26, 2011 (9:00 a.m.) for the 4th Annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour. Beginning\/ending on the air strip of the historic LBJ Ranch at Stonewall TX, the tour traverses hilly, scenic, traffic-free roads adjacent to the Ranch. Routes of 10, 30, 44, and 65 miles (100K) provide the venue for the beginning of spring cycling in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. As an added feature at 1:00 p.m., Luci Baines Johnson leads a narrated tour (included with registration fee) of each of the landmarks on the LBJ Ranch – the Texas White House, show barn, old school, old homestead, LBJ grave site. This will truly be a “Ride to Preserve History”. Tour cost is $35.00 until March 5 ($40.00 thereafter) for supported ride, post-ride hot meal (vegetarians accommodated), maps, SAG support, rest stops, commemorative bandanna, and t-shirt (to pre-registered riders).<\/p>\n
